오늘 연주할 불가리아 민속음악 프로그램은 불가리아의 여러 지방의 민요 가락과 ‚카발‘이라는 관악기의 음악을 포함하고 있습니다. 불가리아에는 민속 문화 양식의 특징에 따라 뚜렷하게 8개의 지방으로 나누어 집니다. 각 지방마다 연주 방식, 발성법, 조음법, 꾸밈음, 방언적 특징 등 여러가지 면에서 서로 차별되는 고유한 스타일이 있습니다. 오늘의 공연에서는 로도피 산맥을 중심으로 형성된 로도피 민속 지역의 노래, 불가리아 중부(트라키아 저지대)에 위치한 트라키아의 노래, 피린 산맥 주변에 위치한 피린 민속 지역의 피린 민요, 불가리아 중서부를 포함하는 숍 지역의 노래를 감상하실 수 있습니다. 카발 독주를 위한 악기 연주에는 불가리아 모든 세대의 카발 연주자 중에서도 유명한 카발 명인들로부터 전해져 내려오는 다채로운 선율 모음을 소개해 드리며, 또한 각각 특색을 지닌 지역들의 음악을 산책하듯이 만나보실 수 있습니다.

The program that we will present includes songs and instrumental melodies from different provinces of Bulgaria. There are 8 distinct folklore regions in Bulgaria, each with its own specifics styles, in terms of performance manner, sound extraction, ornaments and dialectal features. In the today‘s performances you can hear songs from the Rhodope folklore region, which covers the Rhodope Mountains, songs from Thrace, which is located in the central part of Bulgaria (the Thracian lowland), Pirin songs from the Pirin folklore region, which is located around the Pirin Mountains and songs from the Shop region, which covers the mid-western part of Bulgaria. The instrumental performances for solo kaval include various melodies by prominent kaval masters from all generations of kaval players in Bulgaria and also it will lead you to a walk through the folklore regions of Bulgaria, which have specific sound styles in each of them.
